Summer Camps

NOT my favorite part of summer but the kids sure love it!

Karate camp...

Brayd had TONS and TONS of fun at Karate camp this year

and he came back a Ninja freak :)

Tyler went to clog camp at BYU this year and LOVED every second of it.

 Even I did a great job...I didn't cry when I dropped her off at the dorms (yes dorms for 3.5 days) and I didn't even go check on her once.  She was very proud of her brave mom and my reward was LOTS of snuggle time when she got home and she didn't leave my side for days.(looks like I am not the only one who missed someone,he he he and I LOVE it)

and this is the latest of our summer projects.....we FINALLY have grass!!!!

Tyler came up to me and handed me a tissue and said “Here you are going to need this!” then she handed me her MIDDLE SCHOOL Registration… she knows me all too well! Next year Brayden will need to hand me a straight jacket with his HIGH SCHOOL Registration... I HATE that my kids are growing up so fast!

Today I got a reminder from Tyler’s school, reminding me about the Elementary Graduation pictures tomorrow! WHAT? I about (or did, don’t judge) started to cry! There is NO WAY my baby is old enough to be going to Middle School next year! I was grateful that Trav reacted the same way… nice to know I am not alone on this “my kids are growing up WAY TOO FAST” boat!

Spring Break 2011

I was so excited for Spring Break this year! I had my every minute planned... I was going to spring clean my entire house from top to bottom every drawer, baseboard, closet, and anything/everything else you can think of.( yes I know that to some of you this may not sound like fun at all, but to me this sounds wonderful) I even had a spreadsheet of what was going to get done on which day, it was going to be the best Spring cleaning break ever! (don't worry I did save out an afternoon full of fun for the kids)
Then life hit and my schedule... well lets just say only 1 drawer got cleaned out and only 1/2 the closets. Now I am sure you are all feeling a little bummed out that the fun got cut  so short, but don't worry there was still fun to be had.
So instead of a Spring cleaning break we got to go to Idaho and visit my sister , then go to a friends birthday party (which included a 24 hour stay in Utah Co for the kids) and Trav took a FULL day off just to be with us. What could be better?!?  NOTHING! I loved every min of it and am sooooo very sad it is almost time to face reality again.
