We made it home safe and sound!!!!

We are finally home from Hawaii. We went to the Big Island and Oahu, we had SO much fun!!
I will post pictures soon, we are all suffering from a little jet lag and the time difference.(the kids did great over there, but home is another story) And I am just getting over a horrific cold that I came down with right before we left :) plus I have to sift through hundreds of pictures. I am sure you don't want to see them all.
This picture was taken as we were getting ready to land in Oahu pretty huh?
Here is a little video of Trav, that I thought was hilarious!!!! It was taken at the P.C.C.

week 4

This week was a little hectic but, it was our craft week. The kids made picture frames, wooden boats, key chains, birthday cards for Trav and magnets for grandmas picture board.

We also went to the Scout-O-Rama, the kids had lots of fun learning to walk on cans and a rope. They also learned to make fire with metal. Brayden and the neighbor boys were pretty good at it. So now, us mom's are on high alert any time we smell smoke!

You never know what little boys with all that knowledge will do :)

They did a great job sanding, painting, and gluing the boats.

I make them read the directions and do it all by themselves.

They always amaze me at what they are capable of!!!

Brayden's finished boat.

For some reason I didn't get a picture of Tyler's????

Brayden is a good big brother!

He made sure Tyler didn't fall off.

Trying to get a spark

Tyler never could get hers to light, she was a little upset

But, Brayden sure did over and over

I am not sure I like the fact he can now make fire with 2 metal objects.

Tyler did great on the cans.

I loved the look on her face

These were a little harder to balance on!

What a POOPY week!!!

It has been a POOPY week!!! Literally! We had our main sewer line break and back up into our basement. YUCK!! We called a guy to come out and unplug the pipe, but he found mud in the pipe. (I think he helped break the pipe, but you be the judge) Mud in the pipe only means one thing… replace the pipe. Only one problem; it is 10 ft in the ground under a beautiful sidewalk and nice green healthy grass. (It took us 3 years to get our grass to look so good) So, Trav took a day off of work and had to dig a hole(in the rain) 10 ½ ft deep and about 30 ft wide. He had to rip out our sidewalk and some of our lawn. (So sad!!!) But it is all fixed and I have a new appreciation for working indoor plumbing. (And a husband who can fix ANYTHING!!)

All we have to do now is replace the sidewalk and give the lawn a little TLC.

Trav accidentally clipped the water line.
So, his 10 ft hole started to fill up with water.
NOT GOOD!
I don't think if the pipe was like this before,
anything, ever would have gotten through.
But hey, what do I know????

Daddy's little helper

This was the beautiful rainbow at the end of a very rainy day. I thought it was pretty fitting for the week we had. To remind us even though it might feel like we are drowning in what ever trial we are in, our Heavenly Father promises to never give us more than we can handle!
