Sometimes life gets CRAZY (under statement), and this has been one of those times. At the beginning of this CRAZY year I made a goal that I would be better about taking the time to document our life. Well, as life would have it, I have had one of the craziest beginnings to a year I have EVER experienced! So, translation... I have been a slacker!!! But, I am determined to get back on track.
Taking care of a 90 + year old has proven to be MUCH harder than taking care of a new born. I am not complaining, I LOVE Grandma, but it has been a HUGE adjustment on our little family. I think I may have taken my nice little scheduled life for granted, but fear NOT we have a new not so exact schedule down. I have just given up the idea of ever going to bed before midnight, or sleeping ALL night again :) Other than that we are good to go!
I recently heard this friendly reminder..."You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some of them may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006
So, I hope you will be hearing from me often (I have set a goal of 3 times a week)Who knows you might even get sick of me.
I know the kids (well mostly Tyler) love to sit at the computer and peruse the blog; they get such a kick out of going over the things we have done... I love to hear them laugh, tease and just enjoy themselves. I hope I NEVER (again) get to busy or lazy to jot down all the things (big, small, happy, sad, good and bad) that make up our life!
Wish me luck :)

I won't mind if you complete your goal of 3 times a week! I think it's a great idea to keep track of your life at different stages. Not to mention how interesting it would be to reflect back on a time when you have a grandma and young kids under one roof.
Get some sleep.
